Mengzhe Ye — About

About · Mengzhe Ye

I design to question the how, and rebuild the normal.

Hi, I'm Mengzhe — a product designer with 5+ years of experience in EdTech, Healthcare and AI, aspiring to shape the future of how people live, learn, and play.

Day job

Currently, I'm a Product Designer working across EdTech, healthcare, and AI tooling. Along the way I've shaped a career-learning platform, an oncology platform, AI mentoring and content tools — leading design from early hypothesis to launch. I hold master's degrees in both architecture and human-computer interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.

Out of office

When I'm not building things, I love traveling, making coffee, finding new bakery shops, and capturing moments through photography. Most designers test what exists. I study what's unknown. If any of that resonates, feel free to reach out!

ListeningResearch

Translating chaos.

Placeholder — turning tangled, ambiguous problems into a structure a whole team can move on.

SystemsClarity

Bias to build.

Placeholder — a statement about shipping and learning fast instead of polishing in the dark.

Hiking

Weekends on the trail — long climbs where the best ideas tend to show up unannounced.

At an art exhibition

Exhibition

Wandering galleries and design shows — collecting ideas from work in every other medium.

Coffee Hopping

Chasing the perfect pour-over, one neighborhood café at a time.

Meditation

Meditation

A daily reset — a few quiet minutes to clear the noise before the work begins.
